My Morning Jacket is another group I discovered at Bonnaroo while following my ears. I chose “Xmas Curtain” from their 2001 album At Dawn this week. You may have seen them debut their most recent album Evil Urges on Saturday Night Live or saw them heavily featured in the American Dad episode “My Morning Straitjacket”. Jim James is also a member of supergroup Monsters of Folk which I featured here several weeks ago.
I could elaborate on their sound and my love for this band but then I risk sounding too much like Stan Smith of American Dad.
