I’ve been leading up to this group for a while now and I’m at a loss for which song to share.  I’m settling on Band of Horses’ “The First Song” from their 2006 debut album Everything All the Time.

Why have I been leading up to this?  Because I am anticipating the release of their new album Infinite Arms, due out May 18th.  Visit their website to hear their upcoming track, Laredo, or sign up to see a video of their first single, Compliments.

There are two more albums releasing this year that I’d like to promote.  The first is Widespread Panic’s Dirty Side Down.  You can listen to a couple singles from their upcoming album here.  Their album releases May 25th.

The other album is Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ Mojo.  You can listen to an upcoming track from that album here

I’ve started a new Twitter page centered on posting links, freeing up this blog for updates of more substance.  What kind of substance, I haven’t figured out yet but I know that I want this to be a general media blog so things involving Television, Movies, Video Games, Music and Technology.

I’m going to try starting a Song of the Week feature.  I feel that part of focusing this blog on media requires exposing people to it.

This week’s song is All or Nothin’ from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ 1991 album, Into the Great Wide Open.
